Most common problems
encountered in rural potable water supply is the presence of undesirable and
harmful elements in water which is being pumped to public distribution
directly without prior treatment.
PRIMETECH offers TRI-PRO
system with a whole sum technology based practical solution in a simplified
way for effective supply of potable water to common man in rural
environment.

TRI-PRO SYSTEM
DESCRIPTION |
|
The water to be treated (
1000 litres per batch) for human consumption is collected in the raw water
tank @ 1150 litres. The oxidation and disinfection process is initiated
through a state of art “ Selective Ion electrolysis” by a high-tech –
electrolyser. The required chlorine in the safe form of dilute sodium
hypochlorite is generated on-site using the chloride present in the water.
A low voltage DC power pack supplies required DC power for process.
The oxidation process is
enhanced by establishing a thorough and intimate mixing of chlorine and
water by an tank mixing eductor and water feed pump.
Chlorine generation and
tank mixing is carried out for an hour to give sufficient contact time for
the water to get disinfected.
The chlorination and tank
mixing is automatically stopped after a set duration by a fail safe timer
based control panel. The partially treated water is pumped through a
cartridge filter to remove major suspended solids and particles.
The pre filtered water is
passed through a ultra filtration module which employs the advanced “hallow
fibre cross flow filtration technology” to remove particles of size upto 0.1
micron. The final treatment process enables a near 100% removal of ferric
(precipitated iron, bacterias like Giardia, Cryptospordium, colliform, etc.
and viruses, turbidity and suspended solids).
The treated water with
a recommended residual chlorine level of 0.2 ppm is collected in a tank
built in the system for public distribution. |
