TRI-PRO

RURAL WATER DISINFECTION & TREATMENT

MUNICIPAL / RURAL WATER SUPPLY DISINFECTION SYSTEM

Most common problems encountered in rural potable water supply is the presence of undesirable and harmful elements in water which is being pumped to public distribution directly without prior treatment.

PRIMETECH offers TRI-PRO system with a whole sum technology based practical solution in a simplified way for effective supply of potable water to common man in rural environment.

UNDESIRABLE ELEMENTS IN WATER

EFFECT ON WATER & COMMUNITY

  • ONLY COMMON SALT AND AC POWER REQUIRED.

  • NOT DEPENDENT ON CHEMICALS

  • EASY TO OPERATE AND MAINTAIN

  • COST EFFECTIVE.

  • AVOIDS HAZARDS ASSOCIATED WITH CHLORINE GAS WHICH REQUIRES ELABORATE SAFETY SYSTEM.

  • Diseases outbreak

  • Bad taste, red stain, discoloured water

  • Health hazard, system chock

  • Health hazard, system chock

  • Health hazard

  • Bad odour

  • Presence makes water not suitable for consumption

Installation of TRI-PRO systems in new or already established rural and municipal water supply schemes at specific water consuming give immediate solution to above problems.

TRI-PRO TREATMENT PROCESS

CHLORINE DEMAND CHART

  • Oxidation of soluble ferrous iron to insoluble ferric group

  • Oxidation of iron bacteria

  • Oxidation of manganese.

  • Oxidation of Hydrogen sulphide

  • Killing of all pathogens (bacteria and virus)

  • Removing all suspended matter.

  • Removal of all insoluble / precipitated / colloidal substances.

  • Achieving and maintaining a chlorine residual level of 0.1 to 0.2 ppm.

Impurities Chlorine demand
1 ppm - Iron 1 ppm
1 ppm - Manganese 2 ppm
1 ppm - Hydrogen sulphide  1.7 ppm
1 ppm - BOD  0.5  ppm

TRI-PRO SYSTEM SALIENT FEATURES
  • On-site electro chlorination for disinfection and oxidation of ferrous, Mn group

  • Effective process through tank – mixing eductor.

  • On line cartridge filter to reduce load to ultra filtration process.

  • Ultra filtration to remove all colloidal iron, silica, TSS and turbidity.

  • System delivers treated water with 0.1 to 0.2 ppm residual chlorine.

  • Self cleaning system design, Hence no day to day maintenance.

  • Reliable auto operation with timer panel and solenoid valves, Hence operation without any operator’s intervention.

  • High quality components for long service life.

  • Pre-assembled, pre-wired, pre-programmed and factory tested system.

  • No field installation required.

  • Company supported AMC for quarterly maintenance visit.

  • No recurring water treatment cost as a system do not utilize any consumable.

  • The waste water from the plant @ less than 100 – 120 litres per batch do not pose any threat as it is sanitized already by chlorine in the process.

  • The system can handle upto 10 batches per day, i.e. 10000 litres of pure and safe drinking water to the nearby community.

TRI-PRO SYSTEM DESCRIPTION

The water to be treated ( 1000 litres per batch) for human consumption is collected in the raw water tank @ 1150 litres.  The oxidation and disinfection process is initiated through a state of art “ Selective Ion electrolysis” by a high-tech – electrolyser.  The required chlorine in the safe form of dilute sodium hypochlorite is generated on-site using the chloride present in the water.  A low voltage DC power pack supplies required DC power for process.

The oxidation process is enhanced by establishing a thorough and intimate mixing of chlorine and water by an tank mixing eductor and water feed pump.

Chlorine generation and tank mixing is carried  out for an hour to give sufficient contact time for the water to get disinfected.

The chlorination and tank mixing is automatically stopped after a set duration by a fail safe timer based control panel.  The partially treated water is pumped through a cartridge filter to remove  major suspended solids and particles.

The pre filtered water is passed through a ultra filtration module which employs the advanced “hallow fibre cross flow filtration technology” to remove particles of size upto 0.1 micron.   The final treatment process enables a near 100% removal of ferric (precipitated iron, bacterias like Giardia, Cryptospordium, colliform, etc. and viruses, turbidity and suspended solids).

The treated water with a recommended residual chlorine level of 0.2 ppm is collected in a tank built in the system for public distribution.
